Your Task: You are a social media consultant hired to help seven explorers connect to 21st century social media. You are to create different profiles for the different explorers using the following types of social media.

Directions: Choose a different Explorer for each social media platform. Please make sure that-

2. Explorer Selfie
Directions: Choose one of the Explorers that we have studied. Create a “selfie” that this person could have taken after discovering their major achievement. Draw the selfie inside of the phone, and then write what happened during the event from the person’s point of view. Also, create a username for the person and write the actual date and location of the event. Don’t forget to hashtag the person’s thoughts and feelings about the event!

3. Exploration Snapchats
Directions: Create Snapchats for the important event from your explorer. Each snap should include a picture of the event and a caption (in the gray textbox) so that your followers know what each picture is showing. You may use more than one explorer in your snapchat.

Directions: Imagine you are an Explorer that you just took a trip around the New World. What are three noteworthy things that you would want to take a picture of and post on Instagram for all of your followers to see? Make sure you include a # (hashtag) so that they know what your picture is showing. Yes, you can use filters when coloring your pictures! Be creative!
