How I use anchor charts in small group reading instruction
In my instruction, I follow the nine weeks plans determined by our teachers in grades 3-5 As a plan my lessons, I choose anchor charts for each strategy or comprehension skill to focus my teaching The anchor charts give me the “key questions” that I will ask my students during instruction and that they will ask themselves while reading independently I keep as many anchor charts as possible on my walls so students can revisit previous skills and use multiple strategies while reading and comprehending
