Operational & Survival Power to FIELDS1 = .315 A, .020 A Operational & Survival Power to FIELDS2 = .220 A, .016 A Encounter mode of operation only Both FIELDS1 and FIELDS2 Powered and Taking Science Data When Testing FIELDS1, FIELDS2 Powered as well, and vice versa Sensors Magnetometers in mu metal cans for Conducted tests (highest resolution) Magnetometers on bench for Radiated tests as far from emitter as possible. V1-V4 Antennas with 50 cm stubs & plasma impedance to input for all tests. V5 with plasma impedance to preamp for all tests. Bench Area is 3.0 x 1.0 meter copper plate, components separated by 10 cm (min) Cables arranged in serpentine fashion on back of the table Contamination covers for transport and while not testing ESD ground straps in use Heaters & Actuators No Heaters are Expected to Turn On during testing No Actuators are Fired during these tests

11 MAG (x2) Here’s a photo of how radiated tests were done on MAVEN, with the sensor located near the wall of the chamber: For radiated tests, as long as the sensor is > 1 meter away from the antenna during susceptibility tests, we should be good.  For the highest fidelity test, the portion of the cable that runs along the spacecraft deck could be laid close to the grounded copper table and the portion that is on the mostly-insulating boom would be isolated (as in the photo above).
