Effective Follow Up Julius Wambua

Are you Curing or Killing the Patient?
The Second Prescription is when the first rx worked and you are now following thru. Is Hering’s Law of Direction of Cure being expressed through the px or not? Check that the Generals and Well being has improved. If your Rx isn’t working, take the case again from the start. Don’t just throw more medicines at the patient just because you’re too bored or tired to look at it seriously. How can you tell the difference between a Healing Crisis, an Aggravation or simply the remedy didn’t work and the px is getting more sick.

Effective Follow Up ASSESS THE PROGRESS
Write down, but mentally do not accept, the phrase "everything the same". Question each symptom carefully. Have the Generals, Wellbeing and Mentals changed? Has there been a change in the frequency or intensity of the symptoms. (ie 5 to 3 attacks/week, strong to mild) Any new developments or symptoms since last appointment?
4
Effective Follow Up LOOK AT THE FOLLOW-UP AS A WHOLE
Has the case followed Herings Laws of Cure: (up -> down ; in-> out ; last -> first). Have the major complaints (CC) improved or only the secondary, minor complaints? Have some individual parts improved, but there is lowered over-all energy, generals or mentals? Are you seeing true improvement or only a suppression? Was the remedy well-prescribed and hasn't worked according to expectation or prognosis?
