2 Task You and two friends are going to a traditional Indian restaurant. You have a budget of $100 per person, in which you can spend to eat at the restaurant . Each person including yourself must have a starter, a main course and a dessert. You may pick from the list of foods presented. Once you have decided what each person is going to eat, total up your prices and see if you meet the budget

4 Appetizers Samos's : Potatoes, onions, peas, coriander, and lentils, may be served with a mint or tamarind sauce = $25 Naan Bread : Tandoor-baked soft flatbread. Refined wheat flour. = $15

5 Appetizers Mixed Vegetable Pakoras : There are endless variations of pakoras, which are also known as bhajias. Mixed vegetable pakoras as the name suggests are made with a variety of vegetables. = $25 Urad Dal Kachori : Dal kachori is a delicacy from north India. Dal kachori is a spicy puffed pastry. Traditionally kachories are sold at HALWA. = $45

6 Appetizers Spicy Corn Patties : Spicy corn Patties makes a healthy and delicious snack. They are also vegan and gluten free. = $45 Medu Vada : This crispy deliciousness is made with spiced urad dal batter and fried in donut shape dumplings. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. = $25

7 Main Course Butter Chicken and Rice : Made of chicken in a mildly spiced curry sauce. = $55 Biryani and Rice : Mixed rice dish, optional spices, optional vegetables, meats or seafood.= $65

8 Main Course Chicken Tika Masala : Chicken tikka masala is a dish of roasted chunks of chicken tikka in a spicy sauce. The sauce is usually creamy, spiced and orange-coloured. = $75 Kofta : Gram flour balls fried with vegetables then fried and cooked with curry = $55

9 Main Course Tandoori Chicken : consists of roasted chicken prepared with yogurt and spices = $65 Chingri malai curry : Curry. Prawn, coconut, mustard, steamed. Traditional Bengali Dish. = $55

10 Deserts Jalebi : Dough fried in a coil shape dipped in sugar syrup, often taken with milk, tea, yogurt, or lassi = $15 Kheer : A rice pudding made with milk, rice, sugar and dried fruits = $25

11 Desserts Kulfi : An ice cream made with milk and sugar, with a variety of flavours such as mango, saffron, or cardamom = $25 Lassi : Like a yogurt milkshake made of Yogurt, milk, nuts, can be made with mango (mango lassi) = $15
