1. Christ’s Resurrection
*First step in exaltation after the cross (resurrection, ascension, session)
*What were the steps in his humiliation?
*Ans-incarnation, suffering, experience of hell, death, burial.
*Why is the resurrection vitally important?
* If it did not happen-Christ is not alive. Christ is not divine.
*And?
* We are still guilty , cannot be forgiven and will forevermore be slaves of sin, die and be lost

2. Christ’s Resurrection
*It was vital legally and experientially. *It is the public sentence of justification for Christ and us. Romans 4:25. *It is the proof our sins are paid for and we are set free from sin’s slavery. *Christ said “It is finished”, by resurrecting Him God says “It is finished”. *The firstborn opens the way for the rest of the children into heaven. *Every believer experiences resurrection life and shall be raised like him . I Cor.15.
