Declarative Sentence A sentence that makes a statement is a declarative sentence. It ends with a period. Examples: The students played kickball on the playground during recess. The teacher graded the tests after school. .

Interrogative Sentence
A sentence that asks a question is an interrogative sentence. It ends with a question mark. Examples: What time do we have Science Lab on Thursday? Have you copied down your homework yet? ?
