4. DTM update - Status of Rd 1
A total of 258 displacement sites have been identified across 141 VDCs in 14 districts with shelter, drinking water and resumption of livelihood activities has been reported as the priority needs.
DTM teams will finish assessing Kabrepalanchok, Nuwakot, Makwanpur, Okhaldunga, Sindhuli and Ramechhap districts by end of the week and Dolakha, in the coming week to complete the first round of DTM, covering the 14 affected districts.

5. Update from Kathmandu valley
Contingency planning
The CCCM cluster has assessed six out of the 16 pre-identified evacuation sites, and marked 5 of these to be acceptable. However, each site requires technical/engineering improvements. Detailed reports to follow. The assessment process is ongoing.

6. Update from Sindhupalchok
Tudical IDP site in Chautara, adjacent to the humanitarian hub, requires better drainage and solid waste management facilities. The camp is getting congested and requires a camp manager as soon as possible. The Camp Manager will coordinate with all the clusters that is not covered - Logistics, Protection, Water, Sanitation.
Contingency planning
Site planning team on the ground doing site visits and conducting Land Suitability assessments. Canadian army has already visited sites in all the high priority districts. 10 suitable spaces have been identified, one each in Bansbari, Chautara, Irkhu, Jalbire, Jethal, Phulpingkot, Pipaldanda, Sangachok, Shikarpur and Thulo Pakhar and is being assessed in in these days.
Gaps
Identify partners that can do site-visits and Land suitability assessments in the other 5 districts – Dolakha, Okhaldhunga, Sinhuli, Kavrepalanchowk and Ramechhap
Following 7.4 quake on 12th May, large numbers of families are observed going back to sleeping in pre-identified open spaces.
Upcoming Donor briefing in NY on 14th and in Kathmandu on 15th of May
Cluster leads are requested to identify incidents where people are denied relief for not presenting documentation or belonging to certain caste
Majority of sites so far visited by the DTM team are not suitable for habitation during the coming monsoon. Need contingency planning
The appeal is poorly funded and the CCCM cluster is only 6% funded so far. Consider refining cluster priority with a focus on getting ready for monsoon

7. Update from Gorkha Site planning, relocation
Gorkha – DDRC has identified Gumda, Laprak and Barpak as potential vdcs for relocation due to vulnerablility to landslide. In order to inform whether and where, a DUDBC engineer and Government geologist have been tasked with assessing the vdcs – looking at vulnerability of existing sites, community intentions/desires and potential resettlement sites. IOM/CCCM Cluster to participate in this assessment depart 21 May.
Makwanpur - Golmod site in Ward 1, Namatar with people from 12 villages gathering. 7 villages in Wards 1 and 3 have apparently requested relocation, some of these are moving to a self-identified site at higher altitude. If they are to stay there t-shelter and latrines needed.
Government has allocated 25 lakh to develop 2 sites, meeting with gov engineers/
CDO today and tomorrow to determine exact locations.

Gorkha – Discussions with CDO today. British Army will be contacted to determine if we can conduct land suitability assessment (that Canadians did for Sindhupalchok)
