CHURCH SCIENTIFIC CAFÉ EVENING CHURCH Scientific, a Leeds-based project funded by an English Scientists in Congregations initiative, will hold its first Church Scientific Café Evening on Monday, January 23rd, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Blenheim Baptist Church, Leeds (LS2 9AW). Dr Richard Gunton, a research scientist who worships at Blenheim, writes: “Entry and refreshments are free; all are welcome. Please invite friends to this special opportunity to get an inside view on scientific research and explore Christian perspectives on the cutting edge of investigation. For more information and to sign up, visit . Baptist Assembly 2017 This year’s Baptist Assembly will be at the Harrogate International Centre on Saturday 13th May. Tickets are £30 for Adults and £10 for Youth. YBA are seeking volunteers to help with the event. Volunteers will gain free entry to the Assembly and a free lunch. Welcome to Chapel A THIS COMING WEEK Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A. Address Book Today is the last day to submit changes to the church address book. There is a copy of the 2016 book on the back table, please could you check your details are still correct and write any minor amendments in it. If you have significant amendments to make or are new to Chapel A (and would like your details to be included in the 2017 address book), then please fill in the contact details form. Volunteers Wanted Cell: On Wednesday evenings in term time a great bunch of young people from across our local churches gather at the Methodist Centre to explore faith, hang out and generally have a good time!
