From: Active Pulleys: Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Rectus Muscle Paths in Tertiary Gazes
Invest. Ophthalmol. Vis. Sci ;43(7): Figure Legend: Path of the MR of a representative subject in supraducted abduction illustrating determination of anteroposterior pulley location by piece-wise linear regression. The summed coefficient of determination (r 2) was maximized when the most anterior four data points were assigned anterior to the pulley, and the remainder assigned posterior to it. Intersection of the resultant two linear regressions provided the best estimate of pulley location (double-ended broken arrow).
