How to behave in the forest or about John and his forest trip

Once upon a time, Johnny and his father went hiking to the forest.

1. Coal seam fires: develop on peat bogs their combusition is flameless so you can pick them up through the smoke temperature up to 1000o Celsius they spread slowly so and can last even a few months

2. Surface fires: they are the most frequent ones develop on groundcover moss, grass, shruberry and bark catch fire

3. Crown fires: involve whole trees the fire spread quickly by treetops the flames can stand up to m over treetops

4. Single tree fires: are very rare they develop as a consequence of lightning strike or arson they can result in big forest fires

Remember, Johnny! If you don’t respect the rules, you can cause a forest fire. We should protect forests because the are one of the most important ecosystems
