Censorship …suppressing or limiting information released in books, news, radio, movies, websites, etc. It is often done by the government to control the information the public has and to exercise more control over the people in a society.

Chinese censorship More than 2,700 websites are blocked in China.
Thousands more are limited It is estimated that the government employs nearly 1 million people to help monitor and censor the internet. Many international news and radio websites are blocked in China.
