Examples:

Abstract Nouns name ideas or feelings.
Democracy, Love, Sadness…

Common Nouns are general names of people, places and things.
Examples:
Mall, School,Teacher, Holiday…..
Proper Nouns are names for specific people, places and things.
(Proper Nouns always begin with a capital letter).
Jenny, Saturday, Labor Day

Nouns that are made up of Two or more words.
Examples: Daydreams, baseball, playground….

Collective nouns name groups of people, places or things.
Examples: class, club, orchestra,….

5-Possessive Nouns: A possessive Noun tells who or what owns something. -To make singular nouns possessive add apostrophe and S (‘s )to the end of the nouns: Examples: CAT: The cat’s toy. Robert: Robert’s spelling test. -To make plural nouns possessive, add an apostrophe(‘) to the end of the noun when the plural noun ends in s. Cats: The cats’ toys. Students: The students’ Music Teacher. -If the last letter of the plural noun does not end in s add apostrophe and S (‘s )to form the plural possessive. Children: The Children’s Toys.
