earthquakes in NB The most recent earthquakes
New Brunswick earthquakes About a month ago 2.1 magnitude, 5 km depth Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada 3 months ago 1.5 magnitude, 5 km depth Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada 9 months ago 1.9 magnitude, 5 km depth All of are information cam from this link .

How does it work? Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves that make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. They don't just slide smoothly; the rocks catch on each other. The rocks are still pushing against each other, but not moving. After a while, the rocks break because of all the pressure that's built up. When the rocks break, the earthquake occurs. Earthquakes can destroy billions of houses and actually kill people.

The inside and outside of a volcanoes
In-side the volcano there are many layers listed in the diagram and down below: First there is the magma chamber were all of the lava is stored. (magma is another word for molten rock) Then there is the crust witch is just the layer on the earth that we live on and the volcano sits on top of it. The side vent that lets sum of the lava to come through the side. Layers of lava and ash. Lava flow witch is the lava running down the side. The Crater the place were the lava comes out Last but not least the ash cloud which is just ash ,dust and steam with bits of lava.

Sugarloaf Mountain Sugarloaf mountain the place were people go to ski , This place is also good for hiking and other things. This is one of the oldest “mountains” in north America. Sugarloaf “mountain” is actually a volcano believe it or not and its more than 409 million years old!
6
How are volcanoes made? Volcanoes are formed when magma from within the Earth's upper mantle works its way to the surface. At the surface, it erupts to form lava flows and ash deposits. Over time as the volcano continues to erupt, it will get bigger and bigger.
7
active, dormant and extinct volcanoes
Active volcanoes are volcanoes that have erupted recently and will continue to erupt. A dormant volcano isn't erupting right now. But volcanologist expect it could erupt at any given time. Extinct volcanoes haven't erupted for ten thousand years and probably wont be expected to erupt ever again
8
questions How many years old is sugarloaf mountain?
What is another word for molten rock? What magnitude was the second most recent earthquake in st.Andrews? Can an extinct volcano become active again?
