KFL R Ours is a sweeping tale that takes place on the trails and in the meeting rooms and council chambers of the Southeast. R

R KFL In the beginning… There were no mountain bikes
All trails were open to bikes Bikes were created The sport grew Trails were closed

KFL R SORBA formed in 1988 when Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield’s trails were closed to mountain bikes

R KFL The first chapter was Formed in 1996 in Gainesville, GA to
steward trails at Chicopee Woods. By 2008, there were 24 chapters in 6 states.

KFL R Now, as the Southeastern Division of IMBA, SORBA has 34 chapters in 6 states. We continue to grow.

KFL R IMBA-SORBA supports outdoor human-powered recreation. We believe that the best, healthiest way to experience our public lands is from the seat of a bicycle.

KFL R Riding a bike on public lands requires that you have trails. IMBA-SORBA builds and maintains those trails.

KFL R IMBA-SORBA builds and fosters the relationships that allow those trails to be built. We bring experience, value and resources to our partnerships.

KFL R IMBA-SORBA works with Federal, State, and Local agencies to add trails for mountain bicycling.
