Alderman Scott Ogilvie of Ward 14 says St. Louis needs to attract new people to move to the city, but more importantly, we need to get the people who live here to stay. Find your group members and look at the brainstorm lists from last week. You will have 10 minutes to narrow down the lists to FIVE quality responses to keep in mind. Someone needs to write them down and someone needs to speak for your group. What are the 5 best parts of living in St. Louis? What are the 5 most important perceptions others have that may need improvement?

4 For Wednesday, June 29th, choose an area of concern to begin researching. Find an article or two to read on-line related to your topic. For example, if you are concerned about RACISM in St. Louis and know its existence needs to be addressed, try searching “Racism in St. Louis,” or “Racism in American cities.” You will find numerous places to explore. After doing some reading, record a few ideas of what St. Louis can do to improve racial relations. For next Wednesday, July 6, choose a different area of concern and do the same thing.
