2. #1 = right format
Gif for drawings Jpg for photos Png is ok if you’re sure everybody has a new computer that’ll be looking at your pages

3. #2 = right size
<img src=“mypic.gif” height=“100” width=“150” /> Pictures fit on a page better if they are given the right size box to fit into NOTE: pictures never actually are on the page, they are in a separate file and load into the page when it loads

4. #3 = saved in the right place
Everything on your website MUST be in the website folder on your H drive

5. #4 right name and extension
If you call the file my picture.jpg That’s not the same as: mypicture.jpg my picture.jpeg mypicture.gif Or any other variation
