Introduction: This study aimed at collecting, discussing and assembling the damage modes of damaged towers. The carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite material was used to repair the wind turbine tower. The study planned four CFRP repair method directions, with one layer and two layers of repair method of CFRP. The scale down wind turbines tower structure is simulation by hollow steel pipe, and to proof the repair method of CFRP material, we use the pushover test on scale down model. From the repair method of one layer, 30 degrees and degrees of the model have better confinement force of the repair method patch, which CFRP will not have the phenomenon of delamination. The repair method of two layers, damaged position of the experiment changed to the fixed end, which prove the repair method is effective. In addition, the experiment data and pushover test results will do mechanics of the various reinforcing analysis, and compared with the test results. Through the results of this study, according to the damage of the structure of the wind turbines tower, a feasible repair method and calculation method will put forward for the reference of the relevant researchers.
