The French and Indian war was a territorial dispute between the British and French over land along the Ohio river.

The Sons of Liberty Some people who resisted the Stamp Act by boycotting British goods called themselves the Sons of Liberty.

The purpose of the Committees of Correspondence was to spread news about British actions throughout the colonies.

Benedict Arnold helped win the battle of Saratoga but later deserted to the enemy. Paul Revere rode all night to warn the people of Lexington and concord that the Redcoats were marching. Friederich von Steuben drilled and trained the American Army at valley forge Benjamin Franklin spoke in Parliament against the Stamp Act
