In the Bible the book of Joel chapter 1 tells the story of the years of the locust. These locusts represent the different sins in our lives. The sins that eat away at our contentment. There is even better news in Joel 2:25. If you turn to Him then He promises that He will … “And I will RESTORE to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten”. Restore means “to bring back to its original good condition”. God says He will make it good like it was before I messed up.
