How do you show RESPECT? Respect: [ri-spekt] (verb) to show regard or consideration for: to respect someone's rights. When you visit a friend’s home, how do you show RESPECT for your friend’s culture or traditions? How would you show RESPECT for another culture?

Religious Center 3 Religions:
-Judaism, Christianity, Islam all started in SW Asia (The Middle East) Jerusalem (located in Israel): Important to all three religions -a city where Jews, Christians, Muslims have lived for centuries

“Father/Prophet” to all 3 Religions
Abraham is traditionally considered to be the first Jew and to have made a covenant with God. Because Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all recognize Abraham as their first prophet, they are also called the Abrahamic religions.

OVERVIEW ALL 3 Religions share: Belief in one (the same) God- monotheism each led by a single person set of sacred writings
