1. Feb 27 First team just had to practice

2. March 15 Growing days maybe less than last year at this time but turning green, rain I hope today

6. April 12 Holding up well, but I see a resod soon

7. May 24 Great color been over seeding for the past month 100 lbs down the middle. 100 practices total for the year this week

8. May 30 Kept the players of for 3 weeks, be on it today, time to work on the other side, a lot of seed and water

9. May 31 Just out for a mow of the grass and a walk around

10. June 29 Punching holes, grass is holding up, 140 practices in the books

11. June 29 So far so good players are not saying much about the pitch, that is a good thing

12. July 25 Day in a life of a turf manger, filling the divots

15. August 15 Middle of the pitch good shape 200 practices, gets a work out Monday through Saturday one day of rest

16. August 15 Got to love the organic layer nice sand at the bottom and roots just keep punching holes

17. September 6 Red Stars practice just after a Fire practice

18. September 14 Feels like summer but I can see the snow in my future.

19. September 14 Drainage was cut off for the dome, need to be rerouted, use a 2 inch pump to get it out, been like this all year

20. September 14 Poa is my friend holds up well, after I mow it just blends in, any good ideas out there call me

22. September 16 Sodded last week hope it makes through playoffs, may have to use all the way into December.

23. October 7 New sod holding up just ok, keep fingers crossed

24. October 7 Punched holes last week feeling in nicely, next week will be the 4th and final time for the deep tine machine.

25. October 7 First of 2 international practices today will be over 240 practices on this pitch at the end of the week

26. October 9 First team practice set up

27. October 9 Will be the 3rd time this year that it needs to be redone next week new sod I should have 30 plus practices to go

28. October 10 Top half of the pic is sand base the bottom is native soil, the soil holds the fertilizer longer and the water, not sure if there is drainage in this end of the pitch

29. October 10 Side of the practice pitch is my plug farm no other place to be used
