1 Standing position stand with one foot slightly in front of the other
The back foot turned out a slight angle.

2 This pose shows your legs at the prettiest.
Let one foot carry the body weight; always maintain perfect alignment at all times.

3 Walking Consist of walking with toes pointed straight ahead, chin level, shoulders back and down stomach pulled in and hips tucked under.

4 Walking Relax your arms.
Keep your body erect and your torso as free from movement as possible. Neither your shoulders nor your hips should sway. Relax your arms. Swing them in perfect accompani-ment to your stride.

5 Step forward swinging your leg from your hip joint .
Walking Step forward swinging your leg from your hip joint . Keep your knees loose but not bent. Walk along in imaginary straight line . Take a stride just long enough to allow you to place your heel down lightly.

6 Some bad habits shoulders raised high or pushed forward. shoulders swaying either to the left or right, or both. exaggerated hip movement. feet bouncing up and down. heels thump heavily or shoes being dragged alone.

7 Sitting As you walk up to the chair, turn and place the back of one leg against the seat. This serves as your guide to the position of the chair. With one foot slightly ahead of the other, lower yourself onto the chair, sitting at the edge of it.

8 Keep your body erect. Slowly push yourself with the aid of your arms, if necessary; And with one or two movements back up to the backrest and relax.

9 While seated, lift the whole part of your body and your lower back should be touching the back of your chair. You should sit directly on your pelvic bone and not slumped backward on the end of your spine or perched forward on your thighs.

10 You should not sit with your knees apart, legs sticking out feet hooked around the chair, or your skirt pulled up high.

11 Upstairs Downstairs Keep your posture erect, drop down each step with your toes pointed straight ahead if the steps are wide enough. Bend your knee as you go up one step, push up with your thigh, then straighten up smoothly in one continuous motion.

12 When your weight has been , transferred, bring the lower leg up, place it on the second step and repeat the process. If the steps are narrow, turn the body slightly so that the foot lands in a slant.

13 Getting In and Out of Cars
Bend your knee as you slide your nearest foot sideways. Slide the rest of your body into the seat. Pull in your other foot and move back on the seat. Avoid bending from the waist. Put your bag or package in first.

14 Getting In and Out of Cars
In coming out, slide over to the end of the seat first, put your nearest foot out, a little behind and touch the ground with your toe first. Using that foot as support, let your body follow smoothly and stand erect.

15 Bending Gracefully Keep your back straight and erect and bend your knees to go down. Make your leg muscles push you up again. Pick up the object from one side, not from the front.
