But the city of God described in Revelation 21 is lowered onto the new heaven and new earth!

When the believer dies, the soul and spirit go to the 3rd heaven, into the very presence of the Glory of God
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

9. Before the city with streets of gold is lowered from heaven, several other events must occur.
First is the transition to the last of the seven dispensations.

10. This transition begins with the Rapture of the Church Ending the current dispensation of the Church Age.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
He That Liveth and believeth, shall never die

11. The Seven Year Period of the Great Tribulation Transitions to the 7 vials of the wrath of God

22. God Provides a NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH
1 ¶ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

23. What Happens to this Old Earth?
2Pet 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

24. 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
