1 “What is the True Value of Water Consumption in Your Data Center?”
WELCOME!! Vali Sorell, PE – Keynote Speaker President at Sorell Engineering, Inc. “What is the True Value of Water Consumption in Your Data Center?” When tasked with developing their next data center, building owners and operators often ask their designers for mechanical systems that use little or no water. Given the scarcity of water in some areas of the U.S., along with the recent Extreme and Exceptional droughts in California and other parts of the U.S. during these pasts few years, it would appear that waterless mechanical cooling systems are much more eco-friendly. Is this really the case? Vali will propose solutions that are easily workable and can be used as a tool to unpack the realities from myths. Panel Discussion to Follow: Mr. Rich Belt, Xcel Energy Mr. Greg Baker, Aurora Water Ms. Brook Gummere, Swanson Rink Mr. Scot Heath, Enabled Energy Mr. Michael Brunson, OneNeck IT Solutions
