1 WHEN TO STUDY? When you feel fresh and energetic go for theory, new chapters and strengthen your concepts. When feeling little tired, go for problem practice. Avoid studying late at night. Try to adjust ur biological clock to ur exam time. Start doing this at least one month before the exam. If you feel comfortable studying at night, go ahead with it but start adjusting to JEE timings one month before the exam.

2 Some Deadlines You must complete at least 80% syllabus three months before the exam. DON’T GET SCARED!! Take it as a wake up call. Start working hard now. There are chances that you will get in. The last three months should be spent on revising chapters, solving tougher problems, and taking tests. Do this and you will automatically start feeling confident.

3 PCM Try to master all the subjects equally.
You may have some basic strength and interest in one of the subject but remember JEE requires you to score well. More you score more marks you get and hence a better rank. Chemistry is generally considered to be a scoring subject. JEE don’t ask very difficult problems. Therefore don’t waste time solving very difficult problems.

4 Some Questions: I have not completed my syllabus. Can I compete JEE this year? I have not started studying one of the subjects? What should I do? Exam ke kuch dino pahle frustrations ho jaata hai. Kya karen? Test series mein achaa perform nahin kar paa raha hoon. Kya karen?

5 Concentrate on results, not on being busy.
People spend their days in a frenzy of activity, but achieve very little because they are not concentrating on the right things.

6 80 : 20 Rule This argues that typically 80% of unfocussed effort generates only 20% of results. The remaining 80% of results are achieved with only 20% of the effort.

7 ROUTINE Make two different routines. First: LONG TERM.
(Duration: Three to four Months) Make targets when you would complete your syllabus. Second: Short term ( Duration: days) Make a list of topics you would do every day. Remember people generally overestimate themselves.

8 It is not required that you plan on hourly basis.
Initially you will fail but after some practice you will start following it. Try to stick to it at all costs. In case of backlogs try to manage time from the existing available time.

9 REVISING Revision tips.
Close your mind and try to recollect whatever you had studied. Do this very systematically, step by step gradually. Practice this daily. Revision tips. Theory Problems
