Questions to ask when selecting a CF setting
36 weeks for full-time CF experience
Part time possible-lengthens time
Mentor has to hold ASHA CCCs
CF has to verify that ASHA CCCs are current
Minimal Supervision required
80% or more has to be in direct clinical contact related to SLP scope of practice
SLPCF Report and Rating Form
Score of 3 or better on core skills
Apply for CCC following completion
$461 for new grads
$286 if NSSHLA Members for 2 consecutive years prior and aplly early

8. Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
The Oregon Board licenses and regulates the performance of SLPSs for consumer protection
“graduate student clinician”
SLPs need to have an Oregon License to practice in Oregon
Current Exception:
SLP is employed by an education service district, school district, or charter school
AND holds a valid and current TSPC license
TSPC license for SLPs being discontinued
Licensure requirements similar to ASHA’s
CF applies for a conditional license ~$170
Application for conditional license requires that you have secured employment for your CFY
