You all got wet and you became ill. Your friend asks about your weekend. Tell him/her that your weekend was terrible. Tell him/her what happened that day. You meet your friend and ask him/her about his/her weekend. Ask him/her how her/his weekend was. Ask him/her where she/he went. Ask him/her who she/he went with. Ask him/her what happened and why it was terrible.

List two advantages of it. List one disadvantage of driving cars instead of using public transport. You are in a debate group. As a group, you are in favor of using your own car to get to somewhere instead of using the public transport. List two advantages of it. TASK8 STUDENT A (Start the conversation) STUDENT B (Student A will start the conversation) You are late for work for two hours. You didn’t hear your alarm clock and you got up late, so you missed the bus. When you come to work, your friend says that the boss wants to see you. Tell your boss that you are really sorry for being late Tell your boss why you are late. Say what happened next. Tell him/her that you missed the bus and you got on the wrong bus. Say you feel really bad about it and finish the conversation. You are the boss and one of your workers is late for work for two hours. Your worker says that she/he is really sorry for being late and she/he says the reason. However, you are unhappy with the situation. Show interest and ask follow-up questions. Ask him/her what happened, where she/he was, what she/he did, and what happened finally. Show him/her that you aren’t happy with the situation. Tell him/her that she/he shouldn’t be late for work again.
