FAEA 2012 Friday, November 9, 2012 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Mini-Studio This hands-on workshop will give a new twist to traditional coil pots and vases. Each participant will receive complete lesson plans (PowerPoint and SMART Notebook formats) with digital images as well as create two pieces to take home!

2 Coiling: Creating a Lace Vase in Ceramics
Inspired by the “True Blood” Vampire Authority Coral Bowl

3 Cover Cardboard with Newspaper

4 Roll Slab of Clay and slice equally

5 Twist and roll the slices

6 Layout the slices in a grid pattern

7 Roll grid onto tube carefully

8 Attach the base to the vase
