National Perspective PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUPS (PPGS) WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THEIR PRACTICES TO: help patients to take more responsibility for their health. contribute to the continuous improvement of services and quality of care foster improved communication between the practice and its patients provide practical support for the practice and help to implement change

Crich PPG Established in The aim of the group is to facilitate co-operation and an effective dialogue between Crich Medical Practice and its patients to promote the health and well-being of the community It meets no less than four times a year Affiliated to the national association

Membership Membership is open to all registered patients or their representatives from the practice This includes all the villages – South Wingfield, Wessington, Whatstandwell, Lea, Holloway, Fritchley, Sawmills, Brackenfield, Dethick, Alderwasley,, Nether Heage, Bullbridge, Ambergate, Lea Bridge, Pentrich, Oakerthorpe, Higham and Crich Currently 13 members plus the practice manager Seeking to make the membership more representative Establishing a virtual group
