1 Bengal Tiger By Madylin Wolter

2 Appearance Bengal Tigers have brownish, orangeish, and goldish coats with black stripes. It has parts that are white too. They have round ears, triangular noses, and muscular bodies.

3 Diet The Bengal Tiger eats deer, antelope, wild cattle, and wild pigs. They sometimes eat young rhinos and elephants.

4 Habitat Most Bengal Tigers live in India. They also live in jungles, swamps, and forests.

5 Family Bengal Tigers belong to the cat family. All tigers, panthers, cougars, lions, cheetahs, and other cats belong in this family. Tigers usually have 1 to 6 cubs. Male tigers weigh 420 pounds. The female weighs 300 pounds.

6 Facts 1. To defend their territory Bengal Tigers create a certain scent that signals other tigers it’s taken. 2. The hind paw and the front paw look different. 3. Three varieties of tigers are extinct. 4. The male tiger likes to swim.

7 Enemies The Bengal Tigers’ only enemies are people and pollution. People destroy their habitat, kill them for their coats and teeth. When someone litters they pollute the tigers’ habitat. If a tiger eats it, it will die.

8 Protects Itself To protect itself Bengal Tigers have only one option is to try to escape us. But for pollution they have to be smart.
