Overview Different type of activities: one 5-day training programme in Turin 3-day sub-regional seminars in Bratislava, Varna and Riga Internet platform with needs analysis, evaluations and knowledge-sharing Learning assessment, action planning, regular reviews, impact evaluation International Training Centre of the ILO

The workshop’s agendas were very specific … EO’s effective management and connectivity with the EU level; Working meetings with action centred outcomes; Participants’ ownership was key; Difficult economic background; For some … the first time they discussed supra-national issues; For all … a unique opportunity to spend time together in a more “reflective mode”. Lessons learned Project created space and structure to “step back and reflect” in a practical way Improved integration into EU policy issues and social dialogue Emerging view that tripartite concertation and influence on government can be improved through effective bipartite dialogue; There are issues that the social partners can work on independently. NEXT STEPS: Delivery against specific actions Ownership of national social partners for the European level programme and activities Impact evaluation in April 2010 International Training Centre of the ILO
