Tigers are the biggest cats and one of the biggest land predators. They weigh up to 350 kg and are 3 metres long. They hunt alone. They rarely hunt in groups. Tigers live about 15 years.

3. Curiosities:
Tigers see in dark five Times better than a human.
They can swim very well.
They eat deer, wild boars, elephants and bears.
They can run with the speed of 60 km/h.
During hard winter Siberian tiger’s tur fades.
They can jump to a height of 5 metres.

4. Tigers are on the red list because they are in danger of becoming extinct. The destruction of their natural habitat – forests and illegal hunting make them die. In the world there are created reserves for tiger protection. I think that it is important to protect these animals.
