What is a Hypothesis? A Hypothesis is a prediction or a guess.
It is what you believe to be true Example Subject: Ice Cream Hypothesis: I believe that most students in this class will prefer Chocolate Ice Cream to any other flavour How could we test this hypothesis to see if I was right?

Subject Favourite football team Favourite TV Soap Favourite pop star or group for Girls Least favourite pop star or group for Boys Most Popular McDonalds meal Favourite colour for Girls Favourite colour for Boys Write your own hypothesis for each of the subjects above. Start your hypothesis with “I believe that…” Write down 1 way that your hypotheses could be tested
