4. What is a Hypothesis? A Hypothesis is a prediction or a guess.
It is what you believe to be true
Example
Subject: Ice Cream
Hypothesis: I believe that most students in this class will prefer Chocolate Ice Cream to any other flavour
How could we test this hypothesis to see if I was right?
