2 Book of Ecclesiastes Written during the reign of Solomon
Ecclesiastes(Latin) can mean Gatherer, Teacher, Preacher The writers name Koheleth has the same meanings in Hebrew and refers to King Solomon It is another book on wisdom(like Job & Proverbs) Some commentators have described Ecclesiastes as the greatest single piece of writing ever. (including some atheists)

3 Book of Ecclesiastes Ecclesiastes starts with the words
“Meaningless! Meaningless!”     says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless!     Everything is meaningless.” The book questions the usefulness of Wisdom It states that the study of Wisdom and even Folly is like chasing the wind It states pleasure and the pursuit of temporal material and riches is meaningless

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God Chapter 3 contains some famous lines in literature, these were used as the lyrics for a hit by the Byrds in 1965 (Turn,Turn,Turn)

8 Book of Ecclesiastes Ecclesiastes tells us that our pursuit of money, wealth, and fame, even with good intentions, is useless unless we have established a relationship with God. Luxuries might be enjoyable in this life, they might even be good things, but they have no value hereafter. Solomon sums up saying unless we have a good and true relationship with God all we might do is a waste of time.

9 Book of Ecclesiastes Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes,
