2. 1. WLTP GTR
Amendment 2 of the WLTP GTR, dated October 28, 2016, was the reference document for work during 2017.
Two drafting meetings were held in 2016, one in Den Haag during IWG #16 in September and an additional one the 2nd of March 2017 in Brussels.
The results of these meetings and from other sources were incorporated into a working document.
The deadline for submission of the GTR as a working document was two weeks after the Brussels Drafting Subgroup meeting, namely, March 13. This deadline was met.
The UNECE raised no questions regarding the actual GTR and it was quickly published as Amendment 3 of the WTLP GTR on March 28 under ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2017/9.
Assuming that there are no objections to Amendment 3 in this or in the next IWG, Amendment 3 will be used as the reference document for the next stage of the development of GTR 15.

3. 2. Technical report
The UNECE informed as follows: Normally the technical report should be submitted at the same time as the proposal for the new GTR/Amendment. Since this was not the case, I [Miquel Gangonells] kindly ask you to submit it as an informal document but already formatted as an official one. In case of adoption, the technical report will be reproduced in the GRPE report as an Annex/Addendum.

4. 3. Calendar of WLTP-related events
There was a suggestion at the IWG meeting in January that a calendar including all WLTP-related events be drawn up and be uploaded to the UNECE server. The suggestion was welcomed. The purpose of the calendar is to give all task force leaders an overview of free dates when planning meetings.
A preliminary calendar in Excel form was produced by Ichikawa-san and used as a starting point.
S. Dubuc modified the calendar to also show major national/international holidays and the dates of significant events.
In early March, the UNECE was contacted and a space on its server was allocated for the calendar. The calendar can be found at:
The calendar can be opened and modified by anyone but revised versions of it can only be uploaded by me. Old versions are deleted.
My request to you all: You may either modify the calendar per se as you wish and send it back to me but please indicate clearly what you have changed or, better still, drop a simple simply stating what you wish to have entered or modified in the calendar.

5. 4. Future drafting work
Consistency in the use of the terms accuracy, precision, resolution and tolerance.
Paragraph in Annex 4 "Requirements for test vehicle selection/Using an interpolation method" regarding the phraseology that a body shape cannot be fitted to a test vehicle. The paragraph requires clearing up.
Modifications resulting from ongoing task force work.
