2 Sketchbook #26: Review the Erik Johannsen’s website and artwork. Choose 1 artwork you like the best. Describe it or draw a small sketch of it. Explain why this artwork appeals to you. Why do like it? Explain what makes this artwork Surreal. How is it a realistic world with dream-like elements? What looks realistic and believable? What elements are illogical? What “Surreal Techniques” are employed in this artwork? Explain at least 2 techniques.

3 ““Surreal Effects” Tutorial:
You will complete 1 unique tutorial on your own. Review the Photoshop Tutorials links and choose “Out of Bounds” or a “Surreal Effects” tutorial that interests you. The tutorial you complete must teach you something new and complex, resulting in an “Out of Bounds” artwork or a “Surreal Effect” artwork. The tutorial and artwork should take you at least 60 minutes to complete. It should take more - if not, it may not be complex. Choose a different tutorial. You must use different photos than the tutorial. Learn the skills, but make the artwork your own! For example: if the tutorial makes a frog out of raspberries, than you make a lizard out of eggs, or a squirrel out of grapes.
