Geothermal is a renewable source of energy. It comes from within the earth’s surface.

3. HOW YOU OBTAIN GEOTHERMAL ENERGY?
It is obtained when heat from the earth’s crust warms under water reservoirs producing steam to burst through the earth’s surface

4. HOW THE GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT WORKS
Geothermal energy can also be produced using modern machinery. This is where water is pumped into the earth for exchange of steam which is collected and is sent through generators to produce electrical energy.

5. HOW GEOTHERMAL ENERGY IMPACTS THE ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN HEALTH?
The equipment required for the production of geothermal energy occupies a large amount of area, which can be used for other developments. Natural geographical features can be easily damaged.

6. ECONOMICAL IMPACT
Because geothermal energy is a natural resource It will be free of charge to produce however the equipment used to help with the production of geothermal energy may be costly.

7. HOW GEOTHERMAL ENERGY IS SUITABLE FOR MY COUNTRY AND THE CARIBBEAN?
Because geothermal energy is a renewable resource it will not run out reducing the production of fossil fuels. It is suitable in the Caribbean because there are many active volcanoes which can be used to produce geothermal energy
