Best Practices Additional contribution of Rs.200/- in honorarium to CCH. E-transfer of funds. Daily monitoring of scheme through SMS. Two Iron storage bins provided in each school. Mothers also cook and serve Mid Day Meal in schools. Hand Washing Day celebrated on 15th October, 2016. Nestle constructed Hand washing units in 75 schools. 'Sarbat da Bhala Charitable Trust' donated 154 RO systems in 154 schools. In-kind contribution of Rs lakh by community in MDMS. All the 57 food samples taken from 8 districts were found as per norms. LPG in all schools.

Issues Delay in the release of central assistance to schools.
Less coverage under Primary (86%) and upper primary (83%) against enrolment. Less coverage of four working days in primary and upper primary. Multi-tap Hand washing in 45% schools. 32% of the schools on an average are making daily data entries through Automated Monitoring System.
