Students can pay for their tuition, fees and housing in more than 100 local currencies.
Students will have local options beyond wire transfers (aliPay, China UnionPay, etc – these are country dependent)
Payments will be forwarded to the University with accurate and complete identification
Many wires arrive without student identifying information, leading to delays in revenue posting
Provides multi-lingual support throughout the payment process
Provides end-to-end tracking for both student and the University
Currency conversion guarantee
No charge to the student

6. Benefits to the University
Allows the University to track payments from student setup through the receipt of funds, allowing quick and accurate response to student requests.
Allows for the automation of revenue posting, leading to a more prompt student account update
Also provides an increase in on-time collections
Allows for easy refunding of international payments
Currently a manual process which is handled on a case-by-case basis
No charge to the University for the services

8. Implementation Plans
Flywire will be integrated into SOLAR
Office of the Bursar will introduce the service to students at Orientations
Bursar will work with Global Affair’s Office of Visa and Immigration Services to help with outreach
Target date is for Fall 2016
