What does the DATA Act make possible? Analysis and decision-makings based on More reliable spending data because it will be of higher quality and there will be more integrity to the data across the spending lifecycle More accessible spending data for analytics because it is standardized, connected and available (in many different ways – visuals, APIs, CSV files, table downloads, and more to come) How do we expect to see the DATA Act data sets used? Simple queries Trend analysis Benchmarking and comparisons of agencies, programs, contractors, … Policy impact analysis for evidence-based decision-making Scenario building and war gaming TBD!
