Attendance: the #1 predictor of success at school. “We can’t teach you if you aren’t here.”

Those in activities have an even higher standard for conduct.
Be known for good sportsmanship at all times.

Computers and You will have access and an account. Protect your privilege. NEVER use a teacher’s computer.

Appearance: How you dress is important. Specific guidance on Page 44 of the Handbook.

Achievement: Honors for those who are the highest achievers. Everyone benefits from doing their best.

Those failing two classes will be ineligible the next week.

Safety and Security Drive carefully. Buckle up! Be careful around buses.

Safety and Security Lock your locker! Protect your combination. Locks don’t guarantee safety.

Safety and Security You don’t have to be a narc, but if you see something suspicious or dangerous, tell a staff member.

Cougars have a territory…a range…a place where they live and fulfill their life needs.
They mark that territory. They establish it as theirs, and they take care of it. They will go to all lengths to see that others don’t invade it, and others respect it.

When those from the outside come in, cougars fiercely defend what is theirs. This is Cougar Territory... Mark Your Territory.

Within their territory, cougars have established trails…places they go. When on those trails there are certain ways they act. Positive Behavior Supports: key ways of “how we do things around here”
