Scurvy (vitamin C deficiency). Note perifollicular hemorrhage on the leg. The follicles are often plugged by keratin (perifollicular hyperkeratosis). This eruption occurred in a 46-year-old alcoholic, homeless man who also had bleeding gums and loose teeth.
