2. ENGLISH MARATHON
It has become a good tradition to have a day of the English language at College “Ugresha” and University “Ugresha”. All the students and teaching staff took part in this festival on April 9, 2013.
The agenda of the English marathon included various activities and contests in which the participants had a chance to show their knowledge of English and of British culture and history:
Contest of presentations “The World of Innovations”
Charity fair
Game “No word in Russian”
Film “Great Britain and Russia”
The ceremony of awards. Concert.
Thanks to the organizers the atmosphere of
creativity, competition and joy was spread
through the whole university in that day.
The festival was ended up with the
gala-concert where the students performed
songs, danced and acted out scenes
in English.
It was an unforgettable experience for
everybody.
