2 Righteous Man

3 The Construction of the Righteous Man:
First aim of Islam is to establish a righteous man Man who is capable of being Allah’s overseer on Earth Man whom he has been molded in the nicest form Man is the foundation of the good home, the society, the good nation

4 Belief and Faith: A Muslim is a man of belief and faith, one who is clear about himself and the world around him. A Muslim is one who believes that there is a Lord who created him, refined him, guided him, and delivered the book for him Allah will put an end to what he created, and replace it with another world, where good deeds will be rewarded. Monotheism means there is no Creator but Allah, and there is none to be worshipped but Allah. Islam came as great call of liberation, to free man from all worship other than the worship than Allah, Exalted be He.

5 Rites and Worship: A Muslim is man of rites and worship; for he knows that the world around him was created for him and he was created for Allah alone. A Muslim is created to serve his Lord, his Creator, to worship him alone without any partnership. Allah said, “And we never sent a Messenger before you except that We revealed him saying: “There is no god but I, so worship me”. (al-Anbiya’:25) A Muslim should be devoted to Allah, following his commands and leaving what He forbids.

6 Character and Virtue: A Muslim is a man of rites and devotion, is also a man of character and virtues, in whom purity proclaims itself in every sense of the word Islam thought us that virtue is a pre-requisite of faith, as it is His words indicates: “Prosperous indeed are the believers – Who are humble in their prayers – And from vain talk turn away – And who are active in almsgiving- And guard their chastity – Except from their wives and what their right hands posses, for that they are not to blame; And

7 Law and Aim: A Muslim is bound by divine guidance, by a strict system of law, imposed upon him by his divine guidance, by a strict system of law, imposed upon him by his Lord A Muslim adheres to all that Allah has made lawful for him, and so he is not let loose doing what he wishes: he is limited in necessary action. A Muslim should not drink any alcoholic beverages A Muslim should not overeat or overdrink.

8 Propagation and Struggle:
A Muslim is a man of propagation and struggle where he does not stop with improving his lot, but goes on struggling in the interest of others, calling them to what Allah has guided him. By nature, a Muslim is a propagator because he realizes that his message is for the whole world and for the whole life, where he strives towards spreading the light and its universal mercy Whoever follows the Prophet is a caller to Allah with patience. Allah has sent us to deliver people from the worship of Allah alone; and from the torment of the world to its freedom, and from the tyranny of religions to the justice of Islam.

9 Intellect and Knowledge:
A Muslim is a man of intellect and knowledge where there is no distinction in Islam between faith and the intellect, nor between religion and knowledge. By standing for Allah is meant that they should dispense with passion, and sincerely search for the truth. Allah said, “In twos and singles” He means that they should be impervious to the influence of mob thinking and whims The Glorious Qur’an is the only Book which enjoys observation, contemplation, the intellect and experiment, just as it enjoys worship and devotion.

10 Building and Productivity:
Building earth is counted among the purposes of man’s creation as a vicegerent on earth. By this means man is asked to build the earth, which is a sense of obligation, and yet does not deny the acts of worship. Allah has made the earth for man, as a place of rest and comfort, and has made it for his abode and enjoyment to the end of time The prescribed devotion of Islam does not prevent a Muslim from working for a living. Friday on which the weekly prayer is set for Muslims, is not a day off from worldly work like Saturday to the Jews. Searching for Allah’s bounty, is a characteristic Qur’anic expression for earning a living by trade or something else.

11 Righteous Family

12 The Construction of the Righteous Family:
Islam aims at nurturing a good person and righteous family as the foundation stone of the nation’s society Marriage which is a holy bond between man and woman, is the foundation of the expected family.

13 Corrupt and Detrimental Ideas:
Humanity is olden and modern times has come across ideas opposed to the idea of marriage Mani, from Persia, claimed that the world is full of evil. Thus, the prohibition of marriage is the shortest cut to bring the world to an end. In Christianity, there appeared severe nunnery, which is an escape from life, forbidding marriage. Claiming that woman is the incarnation of evil, and Satan in the form of mankind.

14 Islam Recommends Marriage:
The Prophet (PBUH) did not allow nunnery in Islam and prohibited celibacy for the sake of worship He directed his call to youth urging them to marry: “O generation of youth, those of you who can afford it should marry; for it veils the sight and better fortifies privacy.”

15 Aims of Marriage: It is the rule of Allah in this universe that nothing can perform his duty alone. Allah created him indeed to communicate with others of his kind, to be accomplished, and make others accomplished. Allah has ordained for our human world, a noble code of intercourse between a man and a woman, this is what we call “Marriage”. Allah has placed kindness towards woman in the breast of man towards woman; and kindness in the breast of woman towards man. By marriage occurs birth, by which the existence of man is perpetuated, asn so his life is prolonged, his work connected by his righteous offspring after him With reproduction develops the nation, and multiply, build its country and exploit all its energy and it becomes strong enough to face its enemies. From here, Allah urges people to increase.

16 Aims of Marriage: Marriage to third remove complements the religion of a Muslin man. From here, he finds himself competing for the lawful, so he will not think of the unlawful. Marriage is not the only way of preserving religion, but also a way of world happiness, which Islam does not hate. Among joys of mankind are: good woman, a good home and a good beast as the like. Among hardships are a wicked woman, a poor dwelling, and a bad beast as the like. Marriage is the only way of starting a family which is the nucleus of the society, and the foundation of its structure. With marriage, social links are strengthened. Hence, man joins his clan to another clan, his family with another family.

17 Aims of Marriage: Marriage gives man the appropriate opportunity to integrate man’s personality As for marriage, it is a tie and stiff convenient; and a shared responsibility between man and woman from the first day. With marriage, a man can devote himself to his outdoor duties

18 Advice to Willing Grroms:
Islam strives towards instituting marriage on firm pronciples beginning with mutual consent between the couple.

19 The Right Choice: First advice, each of them should make the right choice of his/her life partner. They must not look to attraction alone; for appearance could be deceitful By a good wife is meant; one of religion and character Prophet urges woman and her guardians to make the right choice, no merely the man of property, or lineage or position. And good husband: is one religion and character

20 The Bride: Both husband and wife must accept the physical stature of one another; and this varies from one person to another; that is why Islam permits sight before marriage Eye is the messenger of the heart. And this sighting before marriage, if favored with consent, will open the heart of each other. It is the right of the woman to take a look at the man, while the man is looking at her, because she likes in the man what the man likes in her It is a pity that the Muslims of our own age have been fallen between luxury and extreme

21 The Consent of the Girl:
The father has no right to marry his daughter to whomever he likes without her consent Prophet asked her to make her own choice It is not for the fathers to forecast the marriage of their daughters; allure them to accept. It is better for woman not of marry without the consent of her guardian. It is better to consult the woman in the marriage of her daughter

22 The Married Couple: Marriage is a concrete bond and a sacred partnership, and Islam emphasizes that be continuous, lasting and binding Kindliness means what is accepted by good custom, and practiced by upright and the straightforward of good companionship The joint rights between the two partners, such as mutual respect, consultation in what concerns the family, such as what Allah said concerning suckling mother Sexual relations is the right the one upon the other, with kindness with the limits of ability

23 THE RIGHTS OF THE WIFE: The Dowry
It is the exclusive right of the woman: it is not right for the husband play counters on them, when she requests it of him, or in part after paying it to her And if the husband wishes to pay more at his own choice, there is no harm in that. Expenditure The wife is not responsible for her expenditures even if she is rich. Husband is responsible because he is responsible of her. The wife is responsible to look after his house, doing duty for him, rearing his children This expenditures includes * Enough food and drink, *Clothing for winter and summer, *suitable dwelling, medical care when ill, *Service, if she is the type that needs servants, *Attendance, if she is in a place when she needs security from enemies or thieves

24 THE RIGHTS OF THE WIFE: Kindness and Courtesy
The woman’s need is not merely limited to the material side of expenditure, clothing and the like. What gladdens the woman makes her pleased, so this is the complete aspect of kindliness Nobody should think that this reduces the status of man and makes him lose his manliness Preserving her Dignity The husband should let her know her worth and preserve her dignity, and must not harm her by insult or talk her out of the way. He must not spy on her or trace her steps.

25 THE RIGHTS OF THE WIFE: Patience and Endurance
A woman is not an angle as some who swim in imagination to think she is a human being with good and evil, with right or wrong. It is therefore for the man to be patient over, and endure, in order to save married life from destruction The true Muslim is the one who overcomes reality with imagination, and in whom the intellect controls the passion

26 THE RIGHTS OF THE HUSBAND
The husband has certain rights over his wife by which he control her, in order for living with kindness be complete, according to the injunction of Allah Obedience with Kindliness That is because every partnership must have a head There is no wonder that he should be obeyed. The uprightness and responsibility is what makes man stronger than woman

27 THE RIGHTS OF THE HUSBAND
Trust And in keeping trust over him, she must keep his secrets and should not allow those he dislikes to enter his house Keeping trust over his property. She must not be a thrift spend, nor should she overspend Help Many Imams have gone to the extent of saying that woman is not responsible for the services of her husband.

28 THE RIGHTS OF THE HUSBAND:
Punishment As long as the man is responsible for the home, before Allah and before man, he should prevent her from committing sins, or neglecting obligations, or disregarding martial duties, so as to save the family from collapsing.

29 Righteous Society

30 CONSTRUCTION OF THE GOOD SOCIETY:
The aim of Islam at the establishment of a good society, just as it aims at nurturing a good soul (individual) and a good family, and both are, no doubt, the solid foundation of the society in question. The good society is the one which ties the individual with his family with the noble values of Islam, and its exemplary principles making them the mission of life and the norm of its existence

31 The Principal Values Congregation Upon Faith: The Islamic community is not a national or regional community, rather is it an assembly of faith, community of idea and faith. Hence, it is the foundation “the ideology” of this community. Members of this community may different in races, but all these differences dissolve before the unity of faith, before the union of faith which embraces all in the fold of its brotherhood. The Islamic community is not just by motto or propagation, or discrimination against others, rather it’s a truth imbedded in the soul that comes from the character And from here comes another value which the good society rests, which Islam aims of achieving and it is “Respect for good deeds” that makes them sacred, whether it is religious order like prayers, fasting, pilgrimage and supplication and devotion. All these are useful to man and it is good for him. There is no doubt that the institution of Allah’s devotion, and the performance of the major obligations of prayer, zakah, fasting and pilgrimage are the first group to which the words “good deeds” is applied.

32 The Principal Values: The call to good, the bidding of kindness, and the prohibition of the repugnant, is a clear principles of this religion and so it’s not enough in the logic of Islam that a Muslim should be self-righteous, in a true sense. The unbelievers of the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of David, and by Jesus the son of Mary, because of their rebellion and their transgression. And the struggle in the cause of Allah in defense of right, and strengthening good deeds, and to guarantee propagation, prevention of corruption, and barring the jelous and in checking breach of pacts, and for the safety of the weak, are the basic principles of Islam who no Muslim can deny The virtue of character are confirmed in every aspect of life, and their propagation and protection. It begins from justice, goodness, family respect, cooperation on the basis of respect and piety, etc. are the significant bases which Muslim society cannot stand

33 The Principal Values: Brotherhood and Fraternity
Brotherhood and fraternity are the permanent features of the Muslim society, by dint of firm faith and which runs through its members. History and event have confirmed that there are no bonds stronger than faith and that there is no stronger faith than Islam. As the root of the religion grew deeper, the branches of fraternity and the shaded and its fruits in the soul. And this sometimes reaches the degree of effectiveness with which Allah described the community of the companions

34 The Principal Values: Sympathy and Kindness
Mutual sympathy and kindness, and this is the fruit of true brotherhood, and it is what the noble Hadith has portrayed so vividly. The most urgent need of kindness and mercy is for the weak, the orphan, the unable, the wayfarers, servants and the disables because Qur’an considers that it is a sign of unbelief and denial of religion. It distinguishes between the practical aspect of brotherhood and kindliness. That is why Islam has forbidden usury, and monopoly because of the exploitation of the weak by the strong and, squeezing of the poor by the rich.

35 The Principal Values: Mutual Trust and Advice
Mutual trust and mutual respect, and this is a form of cultural security, which makes every Muslim responsible for and to those around him in society. Thus he advices them and they advice him, and he recommends them in truth they recommend him in truth. Cleanliness and Decency As to cleanliness and decency, the Muslim community is a decent society, rearing its children in a weather of cleanliness, innocence, chastity, and it forbids promiscuity within and without. The Muslim society is not a society of chaste angels, and yet whoever of them falls into a scrape and commits a sin, he should keep it secret and not announce it.

36 The Principal Values: Justice
As to justice, and it includes just transaction between people in the affairs of life, it is an obligation. Justice embraces economic or social justice in the face of the strong so that they do not suck the blood of the weak. An Advanced Society One of the best ways of describing this society which Islam establishes; is that it is an advanced society and this a case in which needs enlightenment and explanation Advancement and Life Goals Yet advancement could be estimated according to the goals a person wants to reach, and so every movement in a direction which draws him to it.

37 The Principal Values: The Aim of Life
Islam has prescribed fundamental goals for man on this earth and the most conspicuous of them. Worship of Allah, to be Allah’s vicegerent on earth, and rehabilitating the earth Integrated advancement: The kind of advancement which Islam calls for is an integrated advancement. It is an advancement in aims and objectives, an advancement in factors and approaches. IN the light of this clear understanding of the issue of advancement, the glorious civilization of Islam was founded.

38 Righteous humanity

39 Construction of righteous humanity:
It must not be understood by the call of Islam for the establishment of a distinguished nation, with its aims and objectives. Islam since the beginning of its mission has been a universal message, and a call to mankind. As for Muslim’s nation, it is charged with the carrying of this universal religion to the world, it is not allowed for it to hoard the good or enlightenment to itself. After being guided with faith and good work it should guide other nations and call them to the good with which Allah has honored them. No matter whether the word from of means among you to be set aside, meaning you should all be a nation of propagators of the good.

40 Liberating man from the worship of man:
The first of these principles is that Islam is calling to total monotheism in all shapes and standards. Islam abolished false gods which people had sanctified and taken them lords besides Allah. To Allah alone must the hearts turn in fear and for help. And it is to him that hands are stretched, and tongues and other organs appeal for security. He also has the prerogative of absolute law and authority over mankind.

41 Liberating man from the worship of man:
Brotherhood is founded upon two things: That all men, by dint of the call to monotheism, are servants to one Lord. They are all children of one father and so much difference in color, characteristics and countries, they are all equal to God. Invocation of the noble Prophet involves three fundamental witnesses: Witness that allah is one Muhammad is his Messenger All servants are brothers and so Islam is universal human brotherhood in general

42 World Peace: Among the objects of Islam is Peace among mankind, instead of war and struggles. The Muslims have never been bloodthirsty as their enemies picture them but were only defending a religion which was worth protecting

43 Tolerance of Non-Muslims:
Among the principles and values which Islam preaches here is tolerance of non- Muslims. Everybody who opposes Islam among the non-Muslims. Martial relation is one of the basic bonds of humanity Just as marriage in the eyes of the Qur’an leads to enduring quite, mutual love and mercy In regard to tolerance with the difference in religion, anything more compromising and higher than this broad mindedness which we find in the law of Islam

44 The Highest Degree of Tolerance:
The least category of tolerance, is for you not to tamper with the opponents freedom of worship and belief For instance, a Christian believes that he must go to church on Sunday, you must not prevent him on that day. The highest form of tolerance is for you to not to torment the opponent in what he considers lawful in his religion, if you believe that it is wrong in your religion. Adhered to respect for the belief of what non-Muslims hold lawful in their religion.

45 The Spirit of Tolerance:
On the basis that there is something else which does not come under the rights which the laws grant, and which the judiciary abides by, and which governments would see implemented. That is the spirit of forgiveness which is a sign of good co-existence and kind transaction In the Quran encouragement of reverence and equality to religious opponents who have not fought the Muslims for the sake of religion

46 RIGHTEOUS ECONOMY

47 The economic life in islam:
The economic life of Islam is also based upon solid foundations and Divine instructions. Earning one's living through decent labor is not only a duty but a great virtue as well. Dependence of any able effortless person on somebody else for a livelihood is a religious sin, a social stigma and disgraceful humility A Muslim is enjoined by God to be self-supporting and to stay away from being a liability on anybody. Islam respects all kinds of work for earning one’s livelihood so long as there is no indecency or wrong involved.  With a clear conscience and due respect from society the Muslim can roll up his sleeves and undertake any kind of work available to provide for himself and his dependents.

48 The economic life in islam:
According to Islam, the status of honest working men cannot be lowered on account of the kind of work they are doing for a living. Yet the laboring workers have no limited scope for improving their lots and raising their standards as high as possible. They have equal opportunities at their disposal and enjoy freedom of enterprise. Whatever the individual makes or earns through lawful means is his private possession, which neither the State nor anybody else can justifiably claim. The economic system of Islam is not drawn in the light of arithmetical calculations and capacities of production alone. Rather, it is drawn and conceived in the light of a comprehensive system of morals and principles.

49 The economic life in islam:
Business transactions enjoy a great deal of attention from Islam. Honest trade is permitted and blessed by God. This may be carried out through individuals, companies, agencies and the like. But all business deals should be concluded with frankness and honesty.  Woe to those who deal in fraud, those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure, but when they have to give by measure or weight to men give less than due. Besides that, there are numerous Traditions of Prophet Muhammad excluding the cheaters, exploiters, monopolizes and dishonest business people from the band of the true Muslims.

50 The economic life in islam:
Although man is encouraged to work, is free to enterprise, is entitled to earn and possess, the fact that he is a mere trustee provides the necessary measure to insure proper handling of his possessions, his trusts. He has authority to earn, to invest and to spend.  There are certain rules of expenditure to be followed. In the words of the Qur’an, God enjoins upon the proprietor to fulfill his financial obligations towards his fellow men, and to be moderate in his private spending.
