Background Carl Rogers lived from 1902 to 1987 as an influential American Psychologist He is among the founders of the humanistic approach to psychology He is also considered a founding father of psychotherapy research which aims to increase an individual’s sense of their own well being

Major Research and Findings
Rogers is known for his person-centered approach, his own unique approach to understanding personality and human relationships He created a theory known as the 19 propositions which toward the end of his life earned him nomination for a nobel peace prize One of his main 19 points was that one person can not teach someone directly that they can only facilitate anothers learning

In my opinion, Carl Rogers was a very interesting man and has created many questions we as human beings are trying to discover everyday Overall Carl Rogers was a boring, but very intelligent and influential man Question: How much do people affect one another based on their opinions and thoughts?
