These are ONLY 2 North-South Corridors In the City of Pierce Canyon Rd only goes to SR 512 for most traffic going south to north Pacific Ave to Canyon Rd is 3.7 miles Canyon Rd to Meridian is 3 miles How would that work in Tacoma?

8 Transportation Obstacles & Deficiencies
5 East/West arterials 112th, 128th, 152/160th, 176th, 224th 112th to 128th = 1mile 128th to 152nd = 1.5 miles 152th to 176th = 1.6 miles 176th to 224th = 3.7 miles Imagine having a detour lasting for weeks and the impact to gas mileage and time commuting

Putting off building infrastructure, costs exponentially more later Road grid already insufficient Denser housing causing additional trips 272,000 additional road trips by 2030 57,426 increased population by 2030 Population currently ________ Densification causes exponential price increase for property acquisition for use as roads If we build them NOW, the will save tax dollars exponentially We need to set aside those corridors or STOP building cul-de-sacs How would you like to see 500 more car trips daily on the road in your neighborhood? What densification would you like to see in your neighborhood? What is in the best interest of the public?
