Mrs. Berning Week in Review Upcoming Events January 20 – pretzel day, report cards February 1 – Victoria Theater field trip February 3 – 100th day of school February 14 – Valentine’s party February 16 – conferences February 17 & 20 – no school We had a fun, busy week. We were entertained and learned a lot when the Dayton Philharmonic came to perform for us. Our Scholastic News introduced us to our 45th President, Donald Trump. We discussed what makes a person a hero and learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and why he would be considered a hero. We had a mock election for our favorite Caldecott book during library! We learned many new vocabulary words with our study on hibernation and migration this week. One of our favorite books: Over and Under the Snow.
