Unfortunately at this time we are unable to provide a live demonstration however slides will be presented to step through the process on the system. Dummy screens and test data may be used throughout – this is due to the system still being under test.

This allows you to use the ‘forgot password’ self service function to ask for a new password After you have changed your password you have to log in again

You can search in past and future Configuration management functions for configuration of system parameters, scheduling of settlement runs, etc are MOSL responsibilities

User roles are provided for admin / contract manager / normal user With MP Admin Numerate

Wrap-up Demo of functions Users and user roles Admin responsibilities Getting started Introduction User types CMOS user You must be a CMOS user to be able to use the CMOS Portal User Interface Organisation Certificate Used to manage the ‘Organisation level’ certificates used for mutual authentication of the Web GUI channel. HVI Certificate user This user account is authenticated by a private certificate and can only be used for B2B communication through the web services of CMOS. Tell: what the users are, and that user management functions are used to manage certifcates Org. Certificate – one or more possible (for example can be relevant if you use sub contractors) Org. Certificate – must be installed on the system of the user which wants to use the CMOS Portal HVI Certificate user – one or more possible. Preferred to have more when using sub contractors

She is not allowed to perform settlement / tariffs actions. We need roles: Portal User Wholesale Market Info User Wholesale We don’t need role: Settlement User Wholesale

Tell: If you push the ‘Save’ button you get either a succeed message or an error message above the screen. This works in CMOS the same everywhere The fields are greyed out which mean they are not editable As administrator you see the following buttons: Password reset Edit - update Delete Cancel – always directs to the Search screen Push Edit -> add a new role

Tell: In the Edit screen you see the extra fields: password, Secret question, answer If a user has not logged in yet, those fields are empty.

Tell: Amy must be enabled to perform action on Settlement / Tariffs. For this she gets an extra role. See following

Tell: If you push the ‘Save’ button you get either a succeed message or an error message above the screen. Wrap-up Demo of functions Users and user roles Admin responsibilities Getting started Introduction User management – demonstration Search User Roles – see what user roles are predefined for your organisation View User Roles – look into the details of the predefined roles, e.g. Market Info Wholesale Create User Role – in your organisation there is a Meters team which are allowed to also submit the TCORR-transactions for Meters. You create a role for this. Tell: Numerate Tell the example for creating a user role

Tell: Point out the user roles and refer to earlier explanation You can select a role by clicking the role name

Tell: Market info user Wholesale you see some of the system functions: these are Search for Eligible premises, View functions like View supply point Transaction functions, wholesaler transactions and TCORR transactions
