10. How We Prepare for the AP Exam
“AP style” assignment at the end of each chapter
Fast track to a 5
AP Questions given in lessons when enough information has been taught. (i.e. 2.3 we went over FR #1a,b but we still haven’t learned enough info for c,d)
After Ch. 3, we will start looking at more free response questions and from the AP exams
AP multiple choice, on practice tests and similar questions asked on the actual tests.
Calculator use introduced starting day 2.

Research shows that students learn from their mistakes.
Brain Research says that “Math Should be more visual”
No partial credit on a multiple choice test, so partial credit is rewarded for completing the problem correctly.
AP Exam is scored on a curve that 60% = 5
